Interventional Radiologist
Drew Hunter, M.D. is a board certified Vascular/Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist at the Vascular Institute. Dr. Hunter received his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University in 2004 followed by an additional 7 years of post graduate residency and fellowship training including 1 year of surgery at Maricopa County Hospital, 1 year of physical medicine & rehabilitation at University of Chicago and then 4 years of diagnostic radiology at Maricopa County Hospital. He then furthered his education and training with an additional 1 year of fellowship training in Vascular/Interventional Radiology at University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He completed all of his training in 2011 and has been practicing full time since then where he has primarily been hospital based at local level one trauma centers in the valley.
He is currently credentialed at Dignity Health Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Hospitals as well as Flagstaff Medical Center.
Dr. Hunter is a highly skilled and extremely compassionate physician. He truly cares about his patients and strives for excellence to achieve the best outcome so that they may enjoy a better quality of life.
Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Sandeep Rao is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and Diagnostic Radiologist at the Vascular Institute. Dr. Rao received his medical degree from Texas Tech University of Heal Sciences Center in Lubbock, and continued onto his residency program at Ohio State University Hospital. Dr. Rao furthered his education by specializing in Vascular & Interventional Radiology through Fellowship at John Hopkins University.
He has shared his expertise through working with multiple hospitals across Texas- such as Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Rao is versatile in his knowledge & expertise. On top of specializing in Interventional & Vascular Radiology, he has completed a residency in Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine, as well as received an MBA in Health Care Administration at the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Administration.

Dr. Sharma is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology since 2017.
He was born and raised in Texas and is a native of Houston, graduating with honors from Rice University and continuing to medical school and residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and Baylor, Scott and White respectively.
After completing his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami, Dr. Sharma returned to Houston and opened his practice with the intentions of providing exceptional patient care and positive outcomes.

Dr. Pauldeep Bahra is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2012. Originally from Canada, he moved to the Chicago area as a teenager and attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies and then went to medical school at the University of Michigan. He completed his Internship in surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and subsequently went to Connecticut for his residency training in the Yale New Haven Health System. He returned to the University of Michigan for his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology completing his training in 2013. Dr. Bahra has been practicing in the DFW area since 2015 and enjoys providing highly specialized minimally invasive procedures to help his patients improve their lives and obtain the best outcomes.
Interventional Radiologist, MD, FSIR, Professor of Radiology
Dr. Jafar Golzarian graduated magna cum laude from the University of Brussels School of Medicine in Brussels, Belgium. He completed his radiology residency at Erasme Hospital, University of Brussels School of Medicine, and then completed his fellowship training in interventional radiology at the same hospital. He is board-certified in interventional radiology and licensed in Minnesota to practice medicine.
He is a professor of interventional radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he became the first doctor to perform the prostate artery embolization (PAE) procedure in the United States. He was also one of the first interventional radiologists to perform uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). He has extensive experience in peripheral vascular disease and interventional oncology. Dr. Golzarian is a key opinion leader in the field of Interventional Radiology. He is the founder and course director of major meetings in the field including Global Embolization symposium and Technologies (GEST) and has authored more than 170 papers and more than 400 national and international lectures.

Following his graduation, Dr. Astani completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Serving as Chairman of Radiology in multiple Chicago hospitals, his leadership style prioritized patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual received not just medical attention but a compassionate touch.
Dr. Astani’s expertise encompasses a wide range, from uterine fibroids, varicose veins, and varicoceles to addressing male infertility, benign prostate conditions, liver cancer, knee pain, and osteoporotic spine fractures. Dr. David Soto is a vascular and interventional radiologist with more than 10 years of practice experience. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his Medical Degree at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Subsequently completing his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Temple University and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Stanford University.

Dr. Gautam Rao is a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist . Dr. Rao received his medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He went on to complete his training in the highly competitive integrated vascular & interventional radiology residency at the University of Texas Health San Antonio.
Dr. Rao specializes in minimally invasive endovascular
embolization of various body systems (i.e. prostate, uterus,
genicular arteries) along with endovascular revascularization for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. He is additionally trained with specialization in pain management and chronic pain reduction.
Dr. Rao is a highly experienced and deeply compassionate
physician who cares about not only patient outcomes, but also patient experience. He seeks excellence with every patient and focuses on improving overall quality of life.
Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Nikpour is an Interventional Radiologist who joined RADS, inc in 2019. He graduated with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelors Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. After completing research at Lawrence Berkeley Labs, as well as working in the biotechnology industry, he went on to obtain a Master of Public Health, with an emphasis in Epidemiology, at UCLA. He received his Medical Degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, followed by a Surgical Internship at Stanford University. He completed Radiology Residency at the University of California, Davis, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then completed a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Loma Linda University. Dr. Nikpour is board eligible in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Tony Ha joined Rads, Inc. in 2017 after completing a Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. Dr. Ha is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, and is Board Eligible for certification in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.Dr. Ha was a Millenium Scholar at the University of California San Diego, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Provost Honors. He earned Bachelors Degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology. After completing a year of research at the University of California Davis he returned to UCSD, earning his Medical Degree in 2011. His training continued with a Surgical Internship and Radiology Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he served as Chief Radiology Resident in 2014.

Dr. C Ramana is a vascular and interventional radiologist. He has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and a PhD in Physics from Yale University. He went on to complete Residency in Internal Medicine and Radiology at Metro Health Medical Center and a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Ramana is skilled in all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology and has a special interest in procedures related to dialysis access and interventional pain.

Dr. Barjinder Sandhu joined Rads, Inc in 2018. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Sandhu completed his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. He also completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at UT Health San Antonio. He is board eligible in diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Dr. Pollock graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, then received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine (UTHSC) in Memphis, Tennessee. He continued his medical training, staying at UTHSC to complete a residency in surgery, and then a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Since finishing his fellowship in 2003, Dr. Pollock has provided comprehensive vascular care for patients across East Tennessee.
He’s a current and active member of multiple societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery, and the Tennessee Medical Association.
Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Wajde Dabah is a Chicago native, born and raised in Elgin, Illinois. He attended anesthesia residency at University of Chicago and went on to perform an advanced fellowship in the field of pain management at University of California, San Francisco. He is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.
Dr. Dabah believes that chronic pain is a disease no different than hypertension or diabetes and that with time, commitment, and collaboration with his patients, they will take back control of their lives and overcome their chronic pain. His mission focuses on using the skills he obtained in his advanced training to bring back a high quality of life for his patients. He is determined to find a tailored treatment for each individual patient as he recognizes no two patients are ever the same.
Out of the office Dr. Dabah enjoys spending time with his wife Kristi, and two daughters, Isla and Celine. He enjoys traveling the world and learning about different cultures, staying active by lifting weights and playing golf, and is a car enthusiast.
